The Minister of Economic Development Flavio Zanonato and the Director of Energy Infrastructures Department Gilberto Dialuce visited the Adriatic LNG terminal, located 15 kilometres off the Veneto coas.

Leaving from Padua all the participants, together with the Managing Director of Adriatic LNG Elizabeth Westcott and the President of Esso Italiana, travelled the Terminal by helicopter.

With a nominal regasification capacity of 8 billion cubic meters of natural gas per year, the Adriatic LNG terminal has increased the import capacity of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in Italy and strengthened the country’s energy security of supply.
